Born in China, I moved to the United States at 16 and tutor those who want to learn Mandarin Chinese. My studies at Eastern Washington University have included public speaking and interpersonal communication, which have helped to build my teaching skills. My area of study is Operations Management. I'm great at teaching others Mandarin Chinese and also talking about culture and stories from China during our tutoring session.In addition, I have four years of experience in customer service. Combined with my college studies and my position as Society Event Chair with The National Society of Leadership and Success Organization, I am used to working and communicating with students. My belief is that it's better to teach one how to fish, rather than give the fish to them. As a tutor, I can also put myself in the student's shoes, which helps me find new and intriguing ways to help. I am also a patient, accessible person.
